Today is the B Teams 4th game without a defeat. The lads were missing a few today both through injury and bereavement and other family engagements.. However, that didn't stop the lads putting in a stern performance. The boys started slow and kept of hitting long balls after long ball but that wasn't unlocking the Bridge Rovers defence. Saying that one of those long balls seen John Ryan able to get in behind and won a corner. The resulting corner seen Joe Roberts leap and the ball ended in the back of the Bridge net. 1-0 to our lads. It was at this point we fell back asleep and 2 minutes later after what seemed to be a game of ping pong in our box the ball ended in the back of our net. 1-1. The game was sort of nip and tuck for a while with Bridge allowing us our chances and we allowing them theirs but no team seemed to want to score or more couldn't score. Bridge got a corner on the 35th minute that ended up being promising but John Ryan done superbly well to make sure the ball was turned around for another corner; that corner seen a ball insuring and there was a moment of madness but it seen Bobby Mckeown make a brilliant save in turn doing some damage to John Ryan, which seemed to be a broken nose. That meant Sam Black making his Senior Debut had to come on. For the last moments of the first half neither team seemed like scoring until the ball landed at Adam Harte's feet and he flew by the bridge defender, getting into the box and down he went. The resulting penalty was calmly slotted away by Joe Roberts.

The second half was a completely different encounter the boys really settled down and were asked to go back to basics. Thats what they done they start moving the ball fast and accurately and that man again Joe Roberts found himself in for the Hatrick. Soon followed by another which to be fair took a huge deflection but because it was probably going on target we will credit Joe with the goal. On 25 minutes Joe and Adam Harte linked well from a Mark O Connor pass, Conor Hendrick found himself on the end of that Joe Roberts pass. Joe Finn was introduced for Conor with 20 minutes to go and managed to bag himself a nicely finished goal. Bridge never looked like threatening the Bunclody goal until virtually the last kick of the ball when they got a penalty. Which was well finished.

The boys controlled the game well and are finally starting to click and get into the rhythm that's needed.

Well done Men!
