The womens team were in fine form this morning when killenagh came to town. The women started well and had great intensity to there play. The killenagh goalkeeper made some fantastic saves but it was an Abbey Murphy screamer that opened the scoring which was soon followed up by a well finished Rebecca O Connor goal. The ladies were really on top with the Bunclody goalkeeper never really troubled but saying that every time Killenagh got the ball forward they looked dangerous but the defence was well marshalled by Bridget Kenny in the middle! Bunclody made a goalkeeping changing putting in Alena Moore and taking out Catherine O Connor and it was the later that finished Bunclodys 3rd goal. 20 minutes later it was double trouble when Catherine and Rebecca O Connor linked up for Bunclodys 4th goal.

This capped a fine Bunclody performance which I’m sure they are happy with. What a great 1st half of the year these women have had. Keep it up women.
