Our B team were very unlucky not to take at least a point from their game at home to Wexford Bohs today. Bohs had a penalty early in the first half which Bobby done very well and saved. Bunclody were attacking but not really threatening the Wexford bohs net. It was a level game at half time with no team really showing who the winner was going to be. Bunclody came out the second half with a change of formation which allowed a lot more space for our midfielders while also giving their back lines with 3 forwards. Now Bunclody start getting their chances and were really testing the Wexford keeper who kept fumbling ball after ball but Bunclody could not pounce the the ball just wouldn't go into the Wexford net. A Bunclody attack which broke down seen Wexford come away with the ball. Down the pitch they went and then came penalty number 2. Again this penalty saved by Bobby but the lads just couldn't get in to clear the ball and it was put into the Bunclody net 1 nil to Bohs. This never stopped Bunclody as we made a few personal changes and the boys just kept going at the Wexford goal. Chance after chance, corner after corner, save after save. Today is the day the ball just wouldn't go into the net. With about 5 minutes to go Tommy Power hit a strike that look destined for the top corner however the Wexford keeper somehow managed to save it, we got in on the rebound, he saved that and again made another save.

Unfortunately today was just the day that the ball wouldn't go into the net despite our best effort. Boys can't be faulted for lack of trying. Hard-luck boys we go again next week.
