Our mens a team had a comprehensive win today in the summer soccer league. In what can be best described as a feisty affair Camolin took the lead early in the first half through a very good play down the left handsome, it looked like an offside but the referee thought otherwise and the goal stood. After that it took Bunclody a few minutes to get the heads back into the right mindset and take the game to Camolin and Bunclody leveled a few minutes later through a Dion Dunne goal.
It turned out to be an excellent game of football with both teams attacking well, with the Bunclody defence holding firm to the Camolin attack all the while building pressure at the other end themselves and that resilience broke through with another well finished Bunclody attack.
The final score on the day was Bunclody 3 Camolin Celtic 1. This win puts the lads in the driving seat going into their next encounter.
